Tubey Awards: Best Programming Trend Poll

July 2, 2009

Mr. Television, Marc Berman, is putting his deep love for and encyclopedic knowledge of TV to use for The Tubey Awards, the annual awards contest from TV fan site TelevisionWithoutPity in which viewers chime in with their picks for the best and worst of the season.

Mr. TV has created five categories for the Tubeys. The first, Best Programming Trend, kicks off today, July 6, and the other categories will roll out every other week through the summer. To vote for Berman’s categories, go to this site.

Unlike traditional television awards like the Emmys, the Tubeys call it like it really is, with the top 10 vote-getters in each category making it to the final round of Tubey polls. New categories and nominees are unveiled weekly through Aug. 30, and fans have one week to cast their votes before the next round of categories are posted online. To see the rest of the Tubeys, go to TelevisionWithoutPity's Web site and click "Tubey awards" in the nav bar.
