July 1, 2008

-By Katy Bachman

Entercom Communications announced Tuesday (July 1) it is expanding the
distribution of its radio stations to mobile devices through a deal
with FlyTunes, a company that delivers audio, video and podcasts to
Apple iPhone and iPod Touch via a Web-based system.

Entercom is the first terrestrial broadcast group to join FlyTunes
network, which currently offers 650 channels of audio, video and
podcasts at no charge.

Internet streams immediately available via FlyTunes are three Entercom
stations in San Francisco (KOIT-FM, KDFC-FM and KBWF-FM) and four in
Seattle (KNDD-FM, KMTT-FM, KISW-FM and KKWF-FM). Additional Entercom
station Internet streams will roll out to the FlyTunes network over
the next 90 days.

"Entercom takes pride in being a pioneer in providing digital options
to its millions of listeners around the country," said Sandy Smallens,
senior vp of digital for Entercom.

Entercom will be working with FlyTunes to sell additional ad inventory
on the service as it grows, said Sandy Smallens, senior vp of digital
for Entercom. The radio company declined to comment on financial terms
or any revenue share from advertising.
