Viacom Sees Revenue Drop in Q3

Viacom reported a 3 percent drop in revenue for the third quarter to slightly more than $3.3 billion, while net earnings rose 15 percent to $463 million, compared to the same period in 2008.   The company attributed the revenue decline primarily to lower sales for both home entertainment and advertising.
