A first look at the new Real Simple line.

Real Simple is taking its well-known brand into the home with a new line of household products at Bed Bath & Beyond. The Real Simple Solutions line will be sold in some 1,000 stores starting in March.

It’s the second big product extension for the women’s service magazine. The title already sells about 20 Real Simple-brand home-office products at 1,400 Target stores. For Bed Bath & Beyond, the magazine created the products in-house.

Products include closet organizers and storage bins that are designed to have multiple uses.

“We looked at what our women have issues with and tried to address those in the product,” said Gary Ryan, vp, brand development and strategy at Real Simple.

Real Simple will also include subscription offers for its magazine in the products’ packaging.
