TNT's new off-net grab, The Mentalist

TNT, the home of quality scripted dramas, has acquired the exclusive off-network syndication rights to The Mentalist from Warner Bros. Domestic Television Distribution. The deal, which begins in 2012, will include all five season episodes (pus future seasons) of the now two year-old drama.

“The Mentalist is a terrific show that will be an ideal fit for TNT’s already strong lineup,” said Steve Koonin, president of Turner Entertainment Networks. “The early success of the series also indicates The Mentalist has a great future.”
