CBS Continues Aggressive Video Network Push

About two years ago, account execs from SignStorey, an out-of-home network in supermarket chains, walked into George Schweitzer’s office at CBS to convince him to buy advertising to promote the network’s TV programs. It wasn’t a far-fetched idea. President of the CBS Marketing Group, Schweitzer is considered a guru in TV marketing. Schweitzer’s response was prescient. “You don’t need to sell me advertising—you need me to give your content,” he remembers.
